Culture Night (Oíche Chultúir) is on Friday 18 September, with more than 50 free events across County Wicklow. Several are on our doorstep in Wicklow Town:
- Wicklow Library, The Mall — Mike Nielsen jazz 4pm, beginners linocut workshop 5pm (booking required, 18+, email wicklib@wicklowcoco.ie), Hugh Browne trad music 6pm.
- Pop-up printmaking, 7pm–9pm — drop in at the Great Eastern Brewery on South Quay, Nick's Coffee Shop on Main Street, or the Gallery on the third floor of Wicklow Library. All ages, no booking.
- Botanical watercolour painting, 5pm–7pm — Bloomin' Plants Garden Centre, Abbey Street. Booking required, 18+.
- Youth breaking jam and dance, 4.30pm–7.30pm — Wicklow Youth Resource Centre, St Patrick's Road. Free to take part or just to watch.
Everything is free. The two workshops need booking in advance; everything else is drop-in.
